Some observations on Traffic Defense Work from the Trenches: No one likes getting a ticket. Dealing with the situation promptly is always better than ignoring it until the last minute. Still, we always try to do the best we can for a client on short notice. If you are the sort of person who leaves things for the last minute, please make an exception here - for your own good. We offer flexible payment options. In any business, there are those sellers who will over-promise a result. The office who claims they “always get a dismissal” is not being honest, and will have a creative excuse later. Likewise, the person who shops on price alone cannot be upset when phone calls are not returned and the attorney is never available. Blind e mails are not productive for anyone. Please reference the reason (e.g. Traffic Ticket”) in the “from” line, and include your name and a telephone call back number, where you can be reached during business hours. A short phone call is better at answering your questions than a long e-mail. No one likes getting an answering machine, but very occasionally, it will happen. If you call us and get one during business hours, please leave a message with a phone number-you will receive a prompt call back. No one plans for or expects to get tickets- Often I will see a motorist who has multiple tickets and is facing suspension for the current ticket. A review of the record will often reveal that, if the prior matters were contested, the current situation would be much different. Every ticket should be fought-those points that you save today could be key to keeping you on the road two years from now-for tickets you don’t expect to receive.
